SparkFun Beginner Parts Kit
The Beginner Parts Kit contains the parts most requested by makers, including capacitors, diodes, transistors, header pins, switches, buttons, regulators, LEDs, and more. A handy parts box is also included. Although the kit lacks resistors, SparkFun also has a Resistor Kit for sale ($8). The Beginner Parts Kit should get you started and see you through your electronics projects. It costs about $15 on the SparkFun website.
