Taking the Raspberry Pi over hill and dale
Conclusion
It takes just a few additional components to expand the Raspberry Pi for use as a standalone computer with I/O capabilities. For status monitoring, a simple analog monitor that costs just a few dollars will suffice. While I describe using the computer as a GPS receiver and a mobile ADS B detector, it could also perform tasks like processing and preparing audio, video, and weather data.
