The DVD that comes with this issue is special. It is a double-sided DVD, because we couldn't resist bringing you the best of both worlds. On side A (with the label) We have included the latest stable version of Raspbian. It comes with the new Pixel desktop, a new graphical system configuration tool, the Chromium web browser, LibreOffice for all your office needs, and much more.
To copy the Raspbian image over to your computer, place the DVD with the label facing up into your drive.
Side B contains openSUSE Leap 42.2 E20, a new distribution for the Raspberry Pi, but an old favorite of the Linux world. The version we bring you today comes with the beautiful and fast Enlightenment 20 (E20) desktop, which is a joy to use and look at. We have also included an article on page 14 that explains how to use YaST, openSUSE's powerful configuration tool.
