Even though it officially has been discontinued, its extremely detailed data sheet is still available online. Because the module supplies values in plain text, a simple shell script is all that is necessary to read and process them. That said, you have to put considerable effort into building your own kernel, which, however, will give you a deeper understanding of the Linux operating system.
